No injuries reported after early morning fire in northwest Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — First responders were called out early Wednesday morning after a fire was reported at a northwest Roanoke home.

According to Roanoke Fire-EMS, crews responded to the 3800 block of Red Fox Drive NW for a report of a structure fire shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3.

When units arrived at the scene, the department says they declared it a working fire.

WFXR News got to the scene of the fire around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, but first responders started clearing the scene shortly afterward.

Fire officials told WFXR News that the house is not vacant. However, there are no reports of injuries resulting from the fire.

As of 6:11 a.m., Roanoke Fire-EMS says the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
