ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A new Kroger fuel center has opened near Tanglewood Mall.
The fuel center, located at 4488 Electric Road, accompanies the existing Kroger store in the Tanglewood Mall area. Six new associates were employed as a result of this new fuel center.
“We’re excited to offer our Tanglewood shoppers an added layer of convenience with this fuel center. We’ve been rewarding customers with fuel savings since 2004 and for some of our Plus Card customers, discounts can be as high as $1 a gallon, depending on the amount of groceries purchased.”

The fuel center will operate 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. It features five fueling stations, making a total of 10 pumps and will offer both diesel fuel and gasoline. The fuel center kiosk offers snacks, soft drinks, tobacco products and automobile supplies. An air hose and vacuum area is also available.
As part of the opening of the fuel center, Kroger Mid-Atlantic will offer customers 20 cents off per gallon on their fuel purchases starting on Friday, Jan. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 17.
