UPDATE 1:56 p.m.: Four people were hospitalized on Monday following a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Roanoke, according to the Roanoke Police Department.

At approximately 10:10 a.m. on Monday, June 13, police say they were notified of about a crash at the intersection of Bean Street and Hershberger Road NW, which left three vehicles damaged.

Authorities tell WFXR News that four people — including one with critical injuries and three with minor injuries — were brought to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following the wreck.

As of this writing, the department says no charges have been filed in connection with the crash, but fatality investigators are still working to determine what led up to the incident.



ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a Monday morning multi-car crash near the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bean Street and Hershberger Road NW on Monday, June 13.

A WFXR News crew is on the scene of the incident and saw one vehicle flipped on its side, as well as two people loaded into an ambulance, but there is no word on their conditions.
