More than 580 customers without power due to Appalachian Power outage in northeast Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A Friday morning outage has impacted more than 580 Appalachian Power customers in northeast Roanoke.

As of 7:28 a.m. on Friday, June 11, the company says 581 customers are experiencing outages in the area around King Street NE.

According to Appalachian Power, the outage started at 6:31 a.m. While the company did not list a cause for the outage, crews are expected to restore power by 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
