Roanoke Valley News

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Monday is the last day to take part in the annual Drumstick Dash, which is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Rescue Mission of Roanoke.

Typically held on Thanksgiving Day, the race is virtual this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, this means you can run the Drumstick Dash anywhere and anytime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30.

The race raises funds for the Roanoke Rescue Mission, which helps provide healthcare, shelter, and many other services for those in need.

The deadline to participate in the Drumstick Dash is 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. To learn more about the race, visit drumstickdash.net. You can also click here to register to walk or run the Dash or click here to donate to the Rescue Mission of Roanoke.
