ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A missing 16-year-old from Norfolk was found safely in Roanoke on Thursday.
According to Roanoke Police, a call came in from a woman who claimed she located 16-year-old Alexis Emory on the Roanoke Greenway on Thursday, May 6.
Emory was last seen on April 18 in Norfolk around 11:30 a.m. and was spotted later that day in Roanoke near the Visitor’s Center.
When officers arrived, they were able to verify the juvenile’s identity before transporting Emory to the Roanoke Police Department.
Emory remained with officers until her parents arrived. They have been reunited.
