Man found shot in southeast Roanoke Sunday night, police say

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are investigating after a man was found shot in southeast Roanoke late Sunday night.

The Roanoke Police Department says officers responded to the 900 block of 6th Street SE for a public service at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 20.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was brought to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital via personal transport, according to the department.

As of this writing, no arrests have been make in connection with this incident, which is under an ongoing investigation.

This news comes after two men were injured following reports of shots fired early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Campbell Avenue SE.
