Police: Man arrives at Roanoke hospital Thursday with gunshot wound

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Police Department is investigating after a man arrived at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound Thursday morning.

At approximately 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, the department was notified of a man with a gunshot wound who had arrived at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital via personal transport.

Police say the victim is being treated for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers and detectives have yet to determine where the shooting took place or make any arrests regarding this incident, according to officials.

However, the investigation remains ongoing.
