ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – With COVID-19 restrictions lessening, entertainers are starting to plan their upcoming tours.
On Monday, Berglund Center announced that Joe Bonamassa and John Crist will be performing separate shows later this year.
Bonamassa’s show will take place at the Berglund Center’s Performing Arts Theatre on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.
Bonamassa is well-known for his blues-rock style. His upcoming tour will promote his latest release, “Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman” which will be released on Friday, June 11 – the same day that tickets for the show will go on sale.
His fall tour will span 32 cities beginning on Oct. 8 in Nashville and will conclude on Dec. 12 in Hollywood, Florida.
Also performing at the Roanoke Performing Arts Theatre is comedian John Crist who will come to the Star City on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Crist’s “Fresh Cuts Comedy Tour” kicks off on Sept. 23 in Augusta, GA and will conclude on Dec. 12 in Springfield, MO.
Crist is one of today’s fastest-rising stand-up comedians with more than one billion video views, four million fans on social media, and sold-out shows from coast to coast. He’s widely known for viral videos like, “Honest Football Coach,” ” Every Parent at Disney,” “Brands That Need To Be CANCELLED” and hundreds more.
Presale tickets for Crist’s show go on sale on Wednesday, June 9 with the general on sale date of Friday, June 11.
