‘Jameson’ paying people to take a day off for St. Patrick’s Day

Roanoke Valley News

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — One of the biggest celebrations in Roanoke has been canceled for the second year in a row because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, even though you can’t attend any St. Patrick’s Day parades, you can still celebrate with a day off.

A new campaign by “Jameson” is encouraging people to take St. Patrick’s Day off and spend it safely.

Jameson will give 1,000 people $50 to spend towards St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

If you win, Jameson will also donate $50 in your name to the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation.
