ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – This is the weekend that many have been waiting for — the return of the Big Lick Comic-Con!
The event was canceled back in February due to pandemic restrictions, but this weekend, the convention is back.
Organizers are not requiring masks for guests, but say that everyone working the event will be taking precautions against the spread of the virus.
According to the Big Lick Comic-Con organizers, ticket sales are already on par with years past.
Tickets are $16 for one day or $25 for the two-day festival held on Saturday, Aug. 7 and Sunday, Aug. 8.
If you want to buy tickets or purchase a photo op with some of the special guests — such as Emily Swallow from “The Mandalorian” and “Supernatural,” as well as Johnny Yong Bosch from “Power Rangers” and numerous anime and video game voice over roles — follow this link.
