ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – James Taylor will “Shower the People” of Roanoke with a plethora of history in music Wednesday night at Berglund Center.
Taylor will be joined by Jackson Browne for a special concert – the first inside of Berglund Center’s Coliseum since the pandemic shut down arenas all over the world.
Around 7,000 people are expected to show up to the sold-out show that, organizers say, has brought excitement for staff who have been waiting to reopen their doors for many months.
“It’s been a very long time. You know, just seeing some of the employees I haven’t seen in awhile has been great. So, we’re excited that things are starting to get back to normal and we welcome everybody back to Berglund Center.”Robert Knight, Berglund Center’s Director of Marketing and Sales
There is no mask mandate for the show; though, Berglund Center officials are recommending them.
