ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a number of crimes involving gun violence throughout the city, including shootings and homicides.

After that, one more homicide and six more shootings took place between June 9 and June 30, with five of those incidents happening in northwest Roanoke while the other two were in the eastern part of the city.
