BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — In less than two weeks, the Greenwood Restaurant is closing its doors for good after feeding the Botetourt County community for almost 70 years.
The announcement was made on the restaurant’s Facebook page on Thursday, June 3.
The Greenwood Restaurant — located on Route 11, just north of Troutville — has been operating since 1952.
According to management, the restaurant’s last day of service will be Saturday, June 19. Community members are encouraged to continue visiting the eatery between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. until that day.
There is no word on why the decision was made.
