Goodwill to hold Community Career and Resource Fair Saturday in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – On Saturday, Goodwill Industries of the Valleys will be hosting a Community Career and Resource Fair in northwest Roanoke.

The event is set to take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 outside of the Goodwill Roanoke Jobs Campus at 2502 Melrose Avenue NW.

The fair will run in conjunction with the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke and Shiloh Baptist Church’s Fun Day at the Kiwanis Centennial Playground beside the Melrose Library at the Jobs Campus.

Both events are free and open to the public. The Community Career and Resource Fair acts as an opportunity for individuals and families to discover what resources and job opportunities are available in the Roanoke Valley.

The Fun Day will provide fun activities, food and music for all ages.

All events will follow COVID-19 safety protocols which will include social distancing and face masks which will be required for everyone who attends.
