ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – This weekend, Girl Scout Cookies are rolling out across the region.
This near, a new cookie is joining the lineup of tasty treats.
The new Adventurefuls cookie joins Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and Do-si-dos.
The Adventurefuls cookie is an indulgent chocolate cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt.
This season, Girl Scouts will be again selling cookies in creative, socially-distant, and contact-tree ways to help keep themselves and their customers safe during the ongoing pandemic.
Many Girl Scouts will run outdoor cookie booths that follow local, state and CDC guidelines while still getting the favorite cookies out to those who are ready to enjoy them.
If you know a Girl Scout, ask about how she’s selling cookies through the Digital Cookie online platform for direct shipment or local delivery.
Starting Feb. 18, consumers may enter their zip code to purchase cookies online from a local troop for direct shipment for donation to local causes.
