“Get Schooled!”: Take a virtual field trip around Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Students can learn about ocean life and sustainable green architecture as part of an educational program from Center in the Square.

It is launching the new “Virtual Get Schooled Field Trip Program” with the help from Blue Ridge PBS.

The program offers engaging educational features throughout our region. Payton the Explorer will invite viewers to join her for tours through Mill Mountain Zoo, the Virginia Museum of Transportation along with other areas. You can download your very own free “Passport” here.

“Do you like adventure? Do you want to explore? Join me, Explorer Payton, for great adventures on Blue Ridge PBS’s new ECHO channel,” said Payton the Explorer.

This program will launch on the Blue Ridge PBS new educational channel, ECHO (Education, Community, Health, and Opportunity).
