Franklin County Sheriff’s Office announces 136 individuals face drug, firearm charges

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has announced a multi-month drug investigation has led to hundreds of indictments.

The sheriff’s office announced on Wednesday, June 9 that 136 individuals have received 262 narcotics and/or firearms indictments.

Throughout the investigations, a total of approximately $200,000 in cash, drugs, and property directly related to drug activity has been seized and taken off the streets.

The sheriff’s office will continue to work diligently to detect, charge, remove and protect our community from this drug epidemic.
