Family fun at Franklin County Recreation Park on Saturday

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Franklin County Recreation Park wants families to spend the Saturday learning about the great outdoors.

The sheriff’s office will be having presentations and demos during the afternoon on Saturday, June 5. Families can learn about bike safety, fishing, canoeing, archery, and there will even be a live snake presentation.

There will also be a drawing for a girl’s 16-inch bike and helmet and a boy’s 16-inch bike and helmet. The drawing will happen at 3 p.m. near the Pavilion.
