ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating those that keep our communities safe and running.
In celebration of National Nurses Day, the coffee shop is brewing up a way to say “thank you’ and is launching its “Cup of Thanks” On May 6th. On Saturday nurses throughout the Star City can grab a free medium hot or iced coffee at any Roanoke location.
“Nurses play a vital role in our communities, and we want to raise a cup to them and acknowledge all they do to keep us safe,” said Melissa Goulette, Dunkin’ Field Marketing Manager.
On May 2nd, healthcare workers received a special delivery from Dunkin’ local Roanoke area franchises of coffee and donuts to nearby facilities, where the company delivered four dozen donuts and four Boxes O’ Joe for coffee breaks at the Carilion Clinic.
Dunkin’ Donuts says this day is extra special because its Butter Pecan flavor will return as a permanent flavor for coffee lovers. The flavor features hints of butter-roasted pecan and sweet cream that can be the perfect addition to any drink, hot or iced.
