ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — In an effort to keep guns safe in homes, Doomsday Tactical Supply in Roanoke will hand out free gun locks to those who don’t have one.

The gun shop, located at 1020 Orange Avenue NE in Roanoke, will give anyone who stops by and asks for a gun lock for free.

In a post on Facebook, the company says it will sell gun safes and gun locks at wholesale cost and won’t make a profit in an effort to keep guns secure and away from children.

This decision comes after the shooting of a boy at a home in southeast Roanoke earlier this week. That boy, Camden Brown, later died at the hospital.
