ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Due to overnight utility work going on longer than expected, a lane closure along Route 419 North in Roanoke County will stay in place amid the Thursday morning commute.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says the northbound right lane and right shoulder of Route 419 (Electric Road SW) will stay closed in front of the Tanglewood Mall until approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 17.

Drivers heading toward Salem are asked to expect delays because of this lane closure.
