BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Crews from multiple departments helped to battle a brush fire in Eagle Rock.
Fire crews from Eagle Rock, Fincastle, Glen Wilton, and Troutville helped to control the fire which was located off Mt. Moriah Road.
As of 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, Botetourt County Department of Fire and EMS says the fire had been contained after burning about two acres of remote, wooded terrain.
A power line is said to have been involved.
Crews say that, as of Tuesday evening, no structures were damaged or threatened by the brush fire.
Fire crews will remain on-scene until all hot spots are extinguished.
