Counselors create videos for apprehensive students at Roanoke City schools who will change schools in the fall

Roanoke Valley News

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – As one school year ends and another begins in a few months, many students may start to show signs of apprehension – especially students who are going to be changing schools.

Students currently in fifth and eighth grades will be transitioning to a new school in the fall. This change could result in a higher level of stress in some students.

With this in mind, Roanoke City Schools have a counseling team that has created videos to help students who may be showing signs of apprehension as they prepare for the new, upcoming school year in the fall.
