Clean Valley Day is April 10

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Clean Valley Council is welcoming groups and individuals to take part in their annual spring cleanup event, Clean Valley Day.

Each year, volunteers from the Cities of Roanoke and Salem, the Town of Vinton, and the Counties of Roanoke and Botetourt collect tons of trash throughout the Roanoke Valley.

On April 10, participants can choose a park, playground, roadside, stream bank, or neighborhood to make clearner. All volunteers will be given trash bags and gloves.

To register your group for Clean Valley Day, click here. Each team member will have to sign a waiver.
