ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A coffee and custard shop that’s focusing on employing people with special abilities is open for business in Roanoke.
Chris’s Coffee and Custard is a labor of love for a mother and son duo.
Chris Woodrum and other young adults whipped up some delicious delights and poured freshly brewed coffee for customers.
The project has been two years in the making due to the pandemic delaying the opening, but now that the doors are open, Chris can’t contain his joy.
“I’m so excited for Chris’s to be open for all my friends, family, and neighbors to come over here,” said Chris.
If you need a java boost or some sweet custard, Chris’s Coffee and Custard is open on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
