ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– The Virginia Museum of Transportation is hosting its second of four “Car-B-Ques” on Friday evening.
The event has an open car show, raffles, and live music for just $5. Children under 12 get in for free.
The band Low Low Chariot will perform. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the museum.
Lead singer, JD Sutphin said, “To see the amount of work that goes into a place like this, and knowing that I’m playing to benefit a charity, it makes the show so much more meaningful.”
The Car-B-Que runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20. You can find out more about the event and the Virginia Museum of Transportation at its website at www.vmt.org.
