Botetourt County crews working to restore Troutville’s water service after pump failure

TROUTVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Repair efforts are underway in Botetourt County after a pump at a water station failed, leaving residents who use the Town of Troutville’s water system without water.

“Crews are working diligently to fix the issue,” Botetourt County spokesperson said in a statement on Sunday, Oct. 31. “We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”

As of this writing, officials say they expect the water service will be restored to the town by mid-day on Monday, Nov. 1.
