BOTETOURT, Va. (WFXR) — The Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce is hosting an open house on Wednesday, April 13, for residents to learn more about what events they have planned for the year and how they are supporting local businesses.
The event will be held at 23 South Roanoke Street in Fincastle from noon until 6 p.m. The Chamber has a tradition of offering annual signature events, educational and networking opportunities, and $1,000 scholarships to graduating school seniors. This year, the Chamber was able to provide another scholarship for home-schooled students as well.
These events are provided through partnerships with businesses in the area that support the Chamber’s investments, as well as volunteers that plan the events every year.
“We are grateful for the partnerships that strengthen the community in many ways,” states Khari Ryder, Executive Director of the Botetourt Chamber. He says that the partnerships are a “win-win for everyone involved.”
