BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Even though many southwest Virginia communities held National Night Out events back in August, Botetourt County is throwing a celebration Tuesday evening as part of this annual campaign to promote strong police-community partnerships.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office and various fire departments in the county invites the community to stop by Fincastle Baptist Church for fireworks, food, music, and more.

“The Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office is committed to engaging our citizens through non-enforcement community activities to continue building and maintaining lasting relationships with those we serve,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
