ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — With animal shelters and rescue organizations across the region at capacity and facing heart wrenching decision, Angels of Assisi says a large number furry friends are in need of the Roanoke Valley community’s help.
From noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9, Angels of Assisi will be having an adoption
special at its location in southwest Roanoke.
Angels of Assisi will offer appointments and approve applications on the spot, meaning that you could go home with your new family member this weekend for $50.
“Angels of Assisi hopes you stop by to meet some incredible dogs; you may even find a new family member,” the shelter wrote in a statement ahead of the event. “The organization asks that the community come together to help find loving homes for these amazing animals.”
