ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — “I approach cooking from a science angle because I need to understand how things work. If I understand the egg, I can scramble it better. It’s a simple as that,” said Alton Brown.
He is a science master in the kitchen and has been known for his tv shows such as “Good Eats”, “Iron Chef America Countdown” and “Cutthroat Kitchen”. Now the culinary chef sensation is coming to Roanoke.
Brown will be performing his “Alton Brown Live: Beyond The Eats- The Holiday Variant” tour in November.
His tour has been performed in more than 200 cities with over 550,000 fans where he mixes science, music, food, and festive fun in two hours.
“Prepare for an evening unlike any other and if I call for volunteers, think twice,” said Brown.
You can catch Brown at the Berglund Performing Arts Theater at 7:30 p.m. on November 17. Tickets are $67, $45, and $35.
They go on sale on Friday, July 29, and are available by phone at 1-866-HDG-TICKETS, the Berglund Center Box Office, or online here.
