Roanoke police identify suspect in Sunday shooting

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) –Roanoke Police have identified a suspect in the shooting on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, DeShawn Johnson, 30, of Roanoke is wanted in the shooting that caused damage to a home and a vehicle on the 1500 block of Abbott St. NW on Dec. 22 about 12:20 p.m. He is charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.

There were no reports of injuries.
