Roanoke Fire-EMS respond to Tuesday morning fire at house under renovation

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a fire Tuesday morning at a house that was being renovated.

Crews responded to the 3800 block of Cove Road NW at 8:01 a.m. to find light smoke coming from the residential structure.

The fire department says two contractors escaped safely and no residents will be displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
