Roanoke Fire & EMS respond to a vehicle into a residence

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Shortly before 7 p.m. tonight, Fire and EMS crews from the city of Roanoke responded to the 1200 block of Melrose Avenue NW for a car into a house.

When units arrived, they found the vehicle had caught fire.

The house sustained damage and is being assessed for concerns over safety.

Three people were taken to the hospital, two with life-threatening injuries and one with serious injuries.
