RAD stand for Rape Aggression Defense.
Although it is sad to think women in our area need training like this to prevent something bad from happening to them, instructors say it’s crucial to learn the skills they need to protect themselves.
The course starts July 11th from 6 to 9 PM.
It is a four day course with classroom and self defense training.
This class is offered to women of all ages in the region.
Instructors say getting your child involved at a young age is a good way to make them not afraid if a situation ever arises.
The course is free for all females.
Instructors say the most important thing women learn is to be more self aware as well as confidence.
