Roanoke City police search for gas station robber

ROANOKE CITY — Authorities are asking for help locating a man responsible for robbing a gas station just before 11 p.m. Monday night.

The suspect walked into a gas station in the 1800 block of Memorial Avenue, then walked out with cash.

Police believe he headed toward Grandin Road after the heist.

The suspect is described as a heavier set individual in his mid-twenties to early thirties.
