Roanoke City Council approves Timothy R. Spencer as new Roanoke City Attorney

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – At Monday’s meeting, Roanoke City Council approved a new hire for Roanoke City Attorney.

Timothy R. Spencer will fill the role, effecting Oct. 1, 2020.

Spencer is a native of Portsmouth and is a graduate of VMI and T.C. Williams School of Law. He also acted as the City Attorney for Danville.

Spencer replaces Daniel J. Callaghan.
