Roanoke City Council announces final five candidates to fill vacant seat

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke City Council has released the names of five candidates who are being interviewed to fill the seat vacated by Djuna Osborne.

The final five candidates looking to fill the vacant seat are:

  • John Randolph Clements
  • Elizabeth Doughty
  • Alvin L. Nash
  • Luke W. Priddy
  • Vivian Sanchez-Jones

All five candidates are being interviewed individually Monday afternoon.

A total of 21 individuals applied for the vacant seat.

City Council will hold a public hearing Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers to hear the views of citizens regarding these candidates.
