ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Southwest Virginia is hosting a Blood Drive on next week. The drive will be held at the Red Cross Auditorium located at 352 Church Avenue SW in Roanoke.
There is always a need for blood, but due to the nearly year-long pandemic, the Red Cross needs your help. That is why the members of the Board will be rolling up their sleeves on Thursday, Jan. 28 to help fill the need.
“We are all in this together” is the theme for the drive.
As an added incentive, if you give blood between now and Sunday, Jan. 31, you may win an exciting Super Bowl LVI getaway in LA for you and a guest!
Visit www.RedCrossBlood.org/SuperBowl for more information.

All donations are tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Plasma from antibody-positive donations may help current coronavirus patients in need.
Chief Meteorologist John Carroll and WFXR’s General Manager Arika Zink will be in attendance.
