Pulaski police arrest two individuals from North Carolina in alleged robbery, abduction

PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) – Officers with the Pulaski Police Department have arrested two individuals in an alleged robbery and abduction.

On Tuesday morning at 10:34 a.m., officers responded to Washington Square Apartments for reports of suspicious persons possibly holding someone at gunpoint.

When officers arrived, they arrested Eric Garrand Cherry, 63, of Whitsett, N.C. and Chrisley Ann Adkins-Davis, 40, of Greensboro, N.C.

Both were identified as suspects in an alleged robbery and abduction.

Police say the initial investigation revealed that the robbery and abductions stemmed from an illegal narcotics transaction.

Cherry has been charged with robbery and two counts of abduction. Adkins-Davis has been charged with robbery, two counts of abduction, assault and battery and providing false identification to police.

Both individuals are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
