PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A Pulaski County firefighter was injured after responding to a house fire in the Newbern area of Pulaski County on April 13th.
Around 9:13 a.m. on Thursday, crews responded to a residential fire on Abby Lane to find heavy smoke coming from the roof area.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control, and all residents were able to evacuate the house safely. One firefighter was injured during the response and went to the hospital for treatment. The firefighter was released from the hospital later on Thursday.
