Protesters to gather in downtown Roanoke Monday afternoon

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Demonstrators are set to gather in downtown Roanoke Monday afternoon to protest for an end to police brutality and systemic racism.

The protest — which is being hosted by “No Justice No Peace Roanoke” — will start at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 8 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial.

Protesters will then walk over the bridge to the Roanoke City Station.
