Police investigating Sunday morning hit-and-run in South Boston

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WFXR) — Police are investigating a Sunday morning hit-and-run in South Boston that resulted in significant property damage.

The South Boston Police Department says the hit-and-run took place early in the morning on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the intersection of Factory Street and Main Street.

According to police, the vehicle — believed to be a 2010-2016 GMC Terrain — failed to stop at a stop sign, hit a light pole, and drove away from the scene, causing extensive property damage.
