DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Local police are searching for two individuals in connection to a late night robbery from a Danville convenience store on Saturday.
According to the Danville Police Department, two individuals robbed Charlie’s Stop N Shop #2 at 1354 Westover Drive around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Police say that the clerk was the only person in the store when the robbers entered wearing dark clothes and gloves with their faces partially covered. One of the robbers waved a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, according to authorities.
The department press release says that the robbers — both of whom are estimated to be between 5’8″ and 5’10” tall — did not hurt the clerk before fleeing the store with an unknown amount of cash.
