Police investigate bomb threat at Roanoke Kmart

Police in Roanoke are investigating a bomb threat that was called into a Kmart store Saturday afternoon.

Police say a bomb threat was called in to the Kmart on Franklin Road around 3:20 p.m. Police soon arrived on-scene, and shoppers were evacuated out of the store and parking lot.

Officers and K-9s searched the building, and the store was later reopened.

Police are still investigating the incident.
