Police identify victim of Wednesday’s McDonald’s shooting in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke police have identified the man shot and killed outside of a Roanoke McDonald’s.

The shooting happened Wednesday, Aug. 19, just before 2:30 p.m. at the Williamson Road McDonald’s. Another man was wounded in the incident that witnesses describe as a shootout.

Police tell WFXR News that the man killed is 21-year-old Sincere Degroat from Wilson, North Carolina.

No other information has been released.
