ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Warmer air will move into the region over the next several days as high pressure builds in, allowing sunshine to return.
Temperatures start to increase on Tuesday with highs in the 50s and 60s. The only chance for light showers appears to be on the western slopes of the mountains.
Temperatures will be allowed to rise as the jet stream starts to lift out of the region, allowing high pressure to move in.

Temperatures will approach seasonal normals on Wednesday and Thursday before we cool down again for the end of the week and weekend as another cold front brings another chance for rain.
