Roanoke, Va. (WFXR) – A Frost Advisory is in effect Wednesday morning for Greenbrier, Highland, and Pocahontas Counties. Temperatures will drop into the mid-30s, which could lead to frost by morning.

As high pressure builds into the region, sunshine is expected to return. A storm system to our west and one to the south will bring clouds to the region Wednesday night, but sunshine should return again on Thursday.

Sunshine will allow temperatures to rebound to near 70 degrees by afternoon, after a chilly start in the 30s and 40s.

Temperatures will remain near to above average for the remainder of the week and Saturday before cooler air returns again.

In the tropics, Tropical Depression 19 has formed in the eastern Atlantic. It is not anticipated to impact land and will likely be sheared apart by the weekend.
