As of Tuesday, May 18, pageant organizers say People’s Choice online voting is open for the 2021 Miss Virginia competition. Each vote costs 99 cents, but you can vote as many times as you want.

According to the Miss Virginia Scholarship Organization, the candidate who receives the most online votes will be named a semifinalist during the Miss Virginia competition on June 19 at the Berglund Center.

In addition, the Miss Virginia People’s Choice winner will receive a $500 scholarship, provided by Miss Virginia 2002, Jennifer Pitts McKenna.

However, the People’s Choice recipient will not be revealed until the conclusion of the show. Even the judges deciding on the winner of Miss Virginia 2021 will not be told which semifinalist is the People’s Choice candidate.

Fans can also vote for Miss Virginia’s Outstanding Teen People’s Choice. The winner in the teen division of People’s Choice will receive a $500 scholarship during the 2021 Miss Virginia’s Outstanding Teen competition on June 18 at the Berglund Center.

Online voting for People’s Choice ends at 10 p.m. on June 17, but keep in mind that votes do not count until the transaction is complete.
